Finding Purpose

Hey guys - I just wanted to share these thoughts with you. Ever since the Glasgow Occupy movement set up camp in George Square, I knew that I was witnessing something spiritual, historical and inevitable. The Occupy movement on a global scale is a conspicuous manifestation of a movement towards collective awareness that WILL ultimately raise the energetic vibrations of humanity as a whole. To be honest, In my opinion, this is the only way that humanity can sustain and grow ( survive, even) given the gross levels of imbalance that we have manifested collectively.   I continue to be moved and motivated by all of the incredible people I meet in my life at the moment, and realise that I have a natural ability/purpose to motivate others in turn. I now have some understanding of my universal purpose, and i hear that guidance LOUD AND CLEAR ! When I set up my facebook account,  I wrote the following :

"There is a calling higher than your mind, deeper than your fear - when you hear the song that calls you, you have no choice. When you hear the song, you are ready to sing. Vibrating at this level is not a choice - it is your purpose"

I AM READY!!!!!!

This movement and the people in it ( this movement IS the people!), have created a  completely necessary "pattern break" in my life. This hiatus and turbulence has pulled the rug of comfort and complacency from beneath my feet, and revealed the dreams underneath.

So - here is what I would like to say to the Occupy Movement as a whole. First of all, thank you. I do not have the words to express deeply enough my gratitude. I know that you are Occupying for my children, family and humanity as a whole. Secondly, I will bring, as I said on day one, music, laughter and supplies to the camp, when I can. Thirdly, as I do not camp myself, I am not guided towards making any decisions that would result in policy relating to the camp itself. I feel that those decisions/actions are for the camp and the camp alone to make. I therefore feel that if General Assemblies are going to centre around camp business,   it will not necessarily be the best use of my time to attend.

So - moving forward, I will give my time to as many Saturday events as I can commit to. ( I agree with David that one of the the main drivers for all of us should be to work towards filling George Square at the weekends and encouraging dialogue without barriers. We should also be having FUN! )

I will also give my energy to collective meditation as and when I can. To both these points, I have commited to singing on Saturday and having a meditation "workshop" on Thursday.

As far as following Universal guidance is concerned, I will continue now with my songwriting and musical journey, for the greater good. For this I need to allocate time. As we also run two businesses and have a LOT  of family commitments, time is scarce and must be used wisely. This is a universal principle !!

I meditate and listen to guidance. I do not feel that my presence at the Sherrif Court today was in line with my purpose, as I chose to write a song instead! This was, for me, the right thing to do. The result will be that I will be able to sing it on Saturday! This new dawn, this new world that I visualise will embrace diversity and will enable it's creative forces for the good. Singers, sing - writers write, painters paint - and do it NOW ! We need colour and light and passion that has no empirical measure! We need to be guided from the heart. For me, I need to ensure that I surround myself with positive energy and vitality - that will enable me to allow those energies to flow through me and out, out, out into the wider consciousness. We are all one.

One again - thank you, thank you, thank you.

OneLove in constant gratitude xx
